Welcome to Handiwerx (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website and engaging our surface repair services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

  • Handiwerx specialises in professional surface repairs and restoration for materials such as stone, laminate, timber, tile, concrete, and pavers.
  • We provide residential, commercial, and industrial repair services, as well as specialised work for caravans and boats.
  • All services are subject to availability and may require a booking in advance.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if:
  • The work site is unsafe,
  • The repair request falls outside our expertise, or
  • Compliance or legal issues prevent us from completing the job.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are free and obligation-free.
  • All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change if:
  • The scope of work changes,
  • Additional repairs are required once work begins, or
  • Unforeseen issues are discovered during the job.
  • Payment terms will be confirmed prior to starting work. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required on completion of services.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a booking.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover time and travel costs.
  • If we need to reschedule due to weather, safety, or unexpected circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new time.

4. Liability

We take care to perform all repairs to a high professional standard, however:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or underlying problems not visible at the time of service.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or external factors (e.g., water leaks, structural movement, or further accidental damage).
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:
  • Re-supplying the services, or
  • Refunding the cost of the services provided.

5. Warranties

  • All work is carried out using professional-grade repair products.
  • Any warranties or guarantees will be provided in writing at the time of service.
  • Warranties are subject to:
  • Proper care and maintenance of the repaired surface, and
  • Reasonable use of the surface in line with its intended purpose.
  • We comply fully with obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Website Use

  • The content on our website is for general information only and may change without notice.
  • We make every effort to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee the site is free from errors.
  • Unauthorised use of our website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
